When you contact us, we may collect your name, email address, optional telephone number, optional company name, preferred move-in date, expected length of stay, number of occupants, housekeeping preference, the apartment concerned and the content of your message. Your name, email address, subject and message are required on the contact form; your name, email address and message are required on an apartment form. Other fields are optional. Without the required information, we cannot answer your request. Limited technical information may be processed briefly to protect forms against abuse and repeated submissions.
Why we use it
We use enquiry information to answer your request, identify suitable availability, prepare or discuss a potential rental, assist an existing tenant and protect the website from misuse. These activities are based on steps taken at your request before a possible contract, performance of a contract where applicable, and our legitimate interests in communicating with prospective tenants and securing the service. We do not use this information for automated decision-making or profiling.
Who receives it?
Access is limited to authorised Charles Home personnel and service providers that are necessary to operate the website, host it or deliver email. We do not sell personal data. Service providers are required to handle information appropriately and only for the relevant service.

How long we keep it
We keep personal data only for as long as needed to answer and follow up the request, meet legal obligations or establish and defend legal claims. On the production website, contact-page submissions are never stored as enquiry records in WordPress. Apartment enquiries successfully sent by email are also not stored there. If delivery of an apartment enquiry fails, a private recovery copy may be retained only for the time needed to resolve the incident and follow up the request. In non-production test environments, apartment enquiry records may additionally be retained privately for technical verification and should contain test data only.
Your rights
Subject to the conditions in applicable data-protection law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, or object to certain processing.
